[IMG]I GOT EGGS! Yesterday I went to clean out the coop, I check it every day to see if there are eggs, and sure enough! I had to do a double take lol. I got two in one day! I've got 3 silkies, 1 EE, all 28 weeks and 1 marans 32 weeks. The egg came from my EE, and I'm assuming one of the silkies because of the size and color, I would expect much darker from the marans.
I'm very excited though! This is my first time raising chickens and I can't believe they finally laid eggs.

Quote:Thanks! I'm really lucky too, a while back she got a very nasty respiratory problem but after 2 weeks of antibiotics it finally cleared up (I'm still hoping it doesn't return!) I've gotta say, she is my favorite of the bunch, she has a lot of personality and loves attention
