I can't wait until i'm an established adult!

So i've been on thise site for a little while, but so many things are catching my heart! silkies, RIRs, EEs, goats, sheep, quail, khakis, many other breeds of duck and chicken. I want my own little farm!! my parents would never go for that, but now i can't wait until i am out of college and am settled down with a nice big yard (and hopefully sweet rich husband) and can get the animals of my dreams! don't forget the horses, cows, dogs, cats and bunnies i want to get too! there are just so many!!

LOL Same way 19 chickens, 2 dogs, a hedgehog, a tortoise, 2 paraketts, a zebra finch, and 2 ducks.

I couldn't either. I'm 32 & I have about 3/4 of an acre now. My dad lives 5 miles from me on the 50 acre farm I grew up on & I just went and looked at a 111 acre farm in WV. My current house is in the country though and it came with a big chicken coop. Best of all I owe less than 50K on it.

I offered to sacrifice one of my coworkers on a fiery altar, if I could go back to being a pre adult. For some reason she wasn't willing.



Imp- don't be in such a hurry, it goes so fast. Although I vaguely remember the same feelings.

Just be careful choosing that husband - some are more critter-friendly than others.

Enjoy it while it lasts! I know that is hard to do, but I am 25 and now we have rent and diapers to buy....

Take it one day at a time, every stage of life is special and you will look back on each one and miss it in it's own way!
