I caught a hawk red handed

    Heard a big commotion, run out down my deck stairs, hear chicken screams from under the stairs. There was a hawk on my little bantam hen. I covered the stairs with my body, got my hen out and there's the hawk, flapping and flailing. We looked each other in the eye for a moment and I got up and it took off.

    Go catch a mourning dove for cryin' out loud!
