I caught my ducks breeding... nq pst 7 Will they brood??

They were born in febuary... will they be laying eggs by winter? I figured they had to be a year old.

No, 4 months is about right.

THe females will be laying eggs in a month or so.

My ducks were like 4 months when they started..1 pekin and 1 crested..They started laying about a month after that...Cant say about my mallards my 2 girls were grown when I got them and my mallard babies are only 9 weeks...
