My best friends hubby is dying of cancer. She called me today to come over for a final visit. He now sleeps about 20 hours a day, has a hard time talking and cannot get out of bed by himself anymore.

His (their) 3rd grandchild was born yesterday, and we believe he was hanging on for that event. Since little JJ's birth, he has steadily gone downhill. I fear he is fading fast. I am glad I got to see him today so that he knows how much I care for him. My heart also hurts for my friend to lose her hubby of 28 years.
