Super bummed as I had one Paint doing great. Today after one day in lockdown, I opened lid for about 15 seconds to let some humididty out as it was 84%. The cord was caught between wall and bator causing lid to tip dumping a metal nut I forgot was on there denting my paint. Is there any chance it will survive?

Oh no![IMG] I've read of people putting wax or tape on cracks? If nobody responds, maybe you could search for a thread explaining how to fix a cracked egg??

I hope you can save your paint chick! [IMG]

I dropped an egg halfway into incubation and put candlewax (unscented) over the damage. So far the chick has been developing and is entering lockdown tomorrow. I know my situation is kind of different, but candle wax does help. Give it a shot. Better than nothing. Right?
