Hello there and welcome to BYC!
Hi Donna! You will get the hang of BYC soon. This site is big and can be daunting at first. But pretty soon you will have it all figured out.

I really need help as a raccoon killed one of my cochins and two others are bitten on the head. the rooster just stands with his head hanging he bleed a lot from the comb. he has a splintered area on his beak, but he doesn't close his beak. the hen seems perky but most of her beak is splintered as unreconisable. she. drinks from a syringe.t I have used vet rx emt gel on the areas that I can. the eyes are swollen shut and I put antibiotic cream on the./ I don't know what to do . feel like I should give them a chance but don't want them to suffer. any help would be appreciated. thanks donna
So sorry for your loss, someone will be alone shortly I'm sure to help you with the medicinal end of things. Can you post a picture or two of your setup so we can better help you with any changes you might need to make to get your setup more secure? Do you see where/how it got in? Do you use plain chicken wire? Post when you find the time, wishing you well...
