I have a pekin duck that always protects the mallard duck but I have no idea if it's a boy or not thank you

If it's more than 4-5 months old, I'd say it's a female - since it's missing a drake feather.

it's about 3 to 4 months and sometimes it looks like it has it but doesn't stick out 100% would it help if I took a pic of what I'm talking about?
