My silkie rooster "Lemonade" and at least two of his lady friends created four baby chicks about 12 weeks ago. I heard a raspy, immature crow this morning but couldn't figure out from who. I know it's about time for them to reveal whether they are "staying or leaving." Which breaks my heart because I love them so much. I'm pretty sure "Coffee" (left) is the mom of Squib and Firecracker (for sure)...Lemonade is on the right.

To me they are one of the most difficult breed to tell the sex. I'm curious now too.
