So I have been dealing with some kind of sickness within my flock. I think it is some kind of virus as one will come down with it and then a few weeks go by and another one will come down with it. It started with my rooster ranger who had droopy wings and a staggering unbalanced walk and was very shaky. I brought him inside and gave him eggs and electrolytes and after about a day he was back to crowing and living life like nothing happend. So then about a month later my other rooster came down with the same symptoms with less shaking and I continued the same routine with the first rooster. He came out of it. But as a third bird came down with these symptoms this time it was a hen, I continued the routine and she never proceeded to get better so I culled her. Then the second rooster and a white leghorn hen of mine died within two days over two nights. Then a few weeks ago one of my roosters in a different flock came down with a funky leg issue which looked like it was broken by the way he was walking. Further examination though there was nothing wrong with his leg. I continued the process that I did with the others and He never came out of it so I culled him too. Today yet another hen is in the beginning sings of this mysterious illness as she is loosing balance, can still run away, seems to have lost her appetite and hasn't finished eating the boiled egg I have given her. I really don't want to think this is Merak's disease but it seems to be that. The only other thing I can think of is a vitamin B issue. Thank you in advance.
