I finally got my babies

    I just went to a local farm and picked out five chicks and took a small tour to see the parents. We got 2 barred rocks, 1 production red, 1 serama and a black silkie.

    Congratz. It is a magical time when picking up your first chicks. I'm a 'new egg' too, as i got my chicks a few months ago. Be sure to take lost of pics, as they grow f a s t!.[​IMG]

    Well, my babies made it through the night. I woke a couple of times to check on them, like I did when my children were babies, but everybody is doing great! They are eating and drinking a lot and are pretty active.
