I Finally Lost My Marbles!

Or stopped using them at least.

My chicks are now 16 days old and it was such habit to wash their waterer every morning, rinse the marbles I had in there and put it all back together. This morning it finally dawned on me that I didn't need the marbles in there anymore. This realazation came AFTER I have already had to raise the waterer twice to keep bedding from being tossed in by growing, scratching feet.

It's O.K. We all tend to lose a few every now and then.

I'm not so sure I ever had any to begin with!

I worried for the longest time about not wanting mixed BO x silkie Serama chicks, but I didn't want to separate (or rather couldn't) the birds. It finally occurred to me that if I gathered and ate the eggs, there would be no problem!
