Hi,
My girlfriend found an abandoned chicken in a graveyard (of all places!). She's been in our apartment for two days now, and she's seemed to enjoy her rest here. She's eating regularly, and is getting more and more active. I've had chickens in the past, and this one looks to be healthy, friendly, female, and around 1 year old (maybe older?).
Unfortunately, a cardboard box is not going to cut it for this little lady. Can anyone help me out by rescuing her? I've posted CraigsList ad's, and contacted a few animal sanctuarys, but all with no luck. I would be happy to deliver her to your place if feasible. I live in the Bushwick neighborhood of Brooklyn, NY.
My phone number is 503-367-3627, and email address is [email protected]
Any help would be appreciated! Thank you!
