I seen these chickens that were awesome looking, but can't remember the name. They were black with white spots, like paint splashes. What are they???

    Could you be more specific?

    Was it mottled?

None of those ring a bell. They were black with white spots, not like barred rock or cuckoo marans. The spots if I remember were nickel to quarter size.

No pics, I seen them while picking up some birds, these are solid black with random white spots, kinda like a dalmation dog, but colors reversed

I emailed him to find out, sure he called them something, maybe they were mutts, but sure were good looking birds. I have been looking, and can't find them, it was a larger breed.

I agree with the poster who thinks you are referring to Silver Spangled Hamburgs - your description is right on the money.
