I really wasn't expecting an egg for another month or so, because most of mine are too young still, and the guy who gave me the EE I brought home yesterday said she probably wouldn't lay for another month or two. He was wrong. Went out to feed them awhile ago, and she was in the nest box with an egg!
Not a great picture because I am using my cell phone, but I'm so excited! I'm double excited because she laid in the nestbox! I called DH at work, called my Mom, I've put it on BYC, now I need to post on facebook. My daughter is at preschool, but she will be crazy excited when she gets home.
