I got an oops chick

Bought some dominiques and RIR chicks- didnt notice till today- one of the "dominiques" is solid black with black beak and feet-with feathered shanks!!!! SURPRISE!!! What could he be? He is a lil smaller than the others. Black cochin??

How old is he?

If there's a LOT of feathering and the chick has a generally fat looking body with short legs, it's a Cochin.

If there's a moderate or small amount of feathering, and the chick is pretty leggy, it's a Langshan.

Could also be a French Maran. Or just a barnyard mix. I would call and ask just to be sure.

Yup, that's a Silkie cross. (or a poor quality silkie)
