I got chickens for my birthday!

Hey everyone. I'm so excited, yesterday was my 40th and my sweet hubs bought me 3 lovely chickens and a beautiful chicken tractor as a surprise! My kids are thrilled, but i'm a little nervous since our HOA doesn't *really* allow this. so we're being sneaky! We live in NC, but have lived in the UK where everyone had chickens in their back garden!

Welcome to BYC juliepili! Very funny that your DH got you chicks for your birthday, mine did the same thing 2 yrs ago! 6 chicks and 3 ducklings and I was thrilled!
