[IMG] I'm sooo excited, I have 5 EE's and one of them is FINALLY laying. It's so pretty!! If the kids hadn't wasted all my camera batteries I would post a picture. [IMG]

    Isn't that fun!!!

We have two EEs and the first laid a cream colored egg [IMG] So we were delighted when the second finally started laying. She lays a beautiful mint colored egg.

Hope the others lay great colors for you!! [IMG]

Can someone tell a "newbie" what an EE is? And how do I get one? I'd love a few green eggs.

    Thanks

I wish I could post a picture-my kids wasted the little juice I had left in my camera...

I was amazed that her first egg was a good sized one-about the size of the large ones you buy in the store.

I didn't know there were even any eggs out there because one of my other non laying girls (not yet) decided she should try and hatch them!! [IMG] Yay, my chickens are finally figuring out what they're supposed to do!!

I'm eggcited for you! I just got my first green/blue eggs in the last month and I'm still excited every day when I go out and pick them from the nest box. I was thrilled that both my EE's are giving me the colored eggs.
