    I thought that too, I have a barred rock that has the same exact coloring too but less wings, if its the same age as the red one and has that much feathering its got to be a faster developing breed that barred.., in theory. So my other thought was a black sex link maybe? Oh the black birdies are tough, great names though.

    Crow looks like a Black Australorp to me. I think that Red is a Welsummer or a Light Brown Leghorn.
