I have~ 2 week old GL hens Wyandotte but not sure if they are both GL

I have two 2 week old Golden Laced Wyandotte chics but one of them look a lot different. One of them has a small yellow comb and the other has a black beck with no visible comb yet. Can anyone tell me if they are both GL hen?

I think they are golden laced Wyandottes, just hatchery types. You have one with a single comb, which happens, and one with a rose comb that is very dark in color, which can also happen.

So now that I know that one has a single comb instead of a rose comb, can anyone tell me if the single comb should be this big at 3 weeks. They are suppose to be hens. I have a silver laced Wyandotte, who also had a single comb, but it never was this big at 3 weeks. Could this be a roo? I have 14 hen but never had a rooster so I was curious. Thanks.

With those waddles coming in too…I suspect roo. This was my slw who ended up being male.

The single comb is a male he has a bigger comb then my 5 week olds

My GLW are 5-6 weeks old and I am still curious if this is a roo. He/she like to peck a lot at the others but it doesn’t seem to be too hard. If anyone can identify if he’s a roo or hen I would appreciate it.

Looks like you have one of each sex. The single combed bird is male.
