Keri78 and Attack Chicken - Thank you for the suggestions! I might do take eggs out of the bator and let them deal with them, but I might not at the same time. These eggs were meant to be chicks to sell and I can't take them straight away from their mamma's. I feel bad for the mamma hens when that happens.

Im putting your eggs under the broody with the 2 turkey eggs it should be just the right timiing too-turkeys will hatch a day earlier I think???

Ugh..I have to take away the 2 turkey chicks when and if they hatch-they are someone else as I dont want turkeyts for me! She can keep the orpington chicks though
Oh and I have half my girls moulting severly-so my eggs #'s went from 2 doz a day to less than a doz! DH is not happy either!
Just joking. My DH wouldn't do that to me but we have a serious vacation planned the end of July and I cannot get tied up with to many chicks. Who in their right mind would watch my flock for a week and a half with a zillion chicks to look after on top of what I already have?
