I have a Black and White Japaneese Bantam, How many eggs to give her?

I have a Black and White Japaneese Bantam thinking of giving her some of her eggs back so hopefully she will hath them out like she did some others earlier this year. My question is how many eggs can a small bantam sit on at a time? More than 4 eggs or is that about the right amount?

ok then i'll wait a few more days till she gives me some more eggs. I only have one chick from her, thankfully it was a pullet, but we want more of these adorable, loveable little chickens. They truely are addictive!!! All chickens that is...

My bantam Millie was on 11 eggs, but she was having a hard time covering them, they are also bantam sized eggs. So I took her back down to 7 and she is great with that, although she was done having me taking her eggs. I got the stinky eye something fierce!
