I looked but haven't seen anyone else mention this one.

    Title: "Pocketful of Poultry" Chickens.Ducks.Geese.Turkeys
    Author: Carol Ekarius
    Cost: $10.95 us/$13.50 can
    ISBN #: 978-1-58017-677-4

It's shaped postcard size, and it is full of wonderful pics of breeds. The back has a bunch of web sites listed under the headings "breed clubs" and "other orgaizations" unfortunately not this one!!LOL!

I bought this book at the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy (ALBC) office and sent it as a gift to one of my chicken friends in Arkansas. She was delighted with the little book. Great pictures and good, concise information on many different breeds at your finger-tips.

The book is an off-shoot of the "larger book," "Storey's Illustrated Guide to Poultry" that has more pictures & more literature. It is by the same author.

AHHHHHHhhhh...so there are two "storeys" books. I have the one that is the guide to raising chickens, I'll have to check into the other one for poultry and make sure it is stocked in my store. Thanks for that. All my co-workers immediately run to me with any book that is chicken related!! Lots of kids books out there. I am including them in my "Chicken collection"!! LOL!!
