I have a mystery condition with my Tom Turkey Please Help!

I have a two year old Tom Turkey and Hen the Tom has a huge knot on his neck in the red wittle part of his throat and I have no idea how it got there or why it is there it looks like he swallowed a golf ball or something he is not seeming to be in pain and he eats just fine but I haven't been able to find out anything about his condition on the internet. If anyone has any ideas I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you new friends DeAnn

I have pictures on my BYC page. He doesn't have any bite or scratch marks on him just the lump for no apparent reason.

I don't know alot about turkeys but I do know alot about birds. That is either an abcess or a tumor. How long has he had that?

infection or tumor in gizzerd take to vet asap could be a golf ball but i doubt it id say infection very serious or tumor

Definitely get to a vet. Watch out for that barbed wire. That will cause a world of hurt for your animals.

Make sure that you physically feel that he still has weight. A lot of birds seem healthy until you pick them up, then you realize there all feathers and bone.

Could he have snagged it on something and gotten an infection in it?
