i have a peep and i need to add humidity to the bator would it hurt the chick for me to add some water really fast...if i open and close it really fast

Sure, Drew, but could you use a drinking straw to add through the vent hole?

I read a tip on here to increase humidity... try sticking a straw in the air hole and getting the water in that way. That's what I did and it worked really well.

Do you know what your humidity is now?

i have eggs right underneath that hole...o man how dumb...i dont want to soak the eggs

Do you have a bendable straw? Maybe you could get around the eggs that way - I had one large staw ( I think it was either tupperware or one that came with a kids cup somewhere) and it was super long and flexable so I was able to get around mine.

i couldnt find a straw...so i went ahead and just opened it up..and did it ..nothing bad happened...except my egg isnt reall moving around anymore...do they always move?

Sometimes they move so slightly it's hard to see. Just be patient, grasshopper, LOL! Good luck!
