I have a question about....

    Hi yall!!! I have a question about how to keep my chickens water from freezing up...It got down to 26 degrees here this morning and I am trying to find a solution on how to keep my chickens water from being frozen each mornin...Any suggestions will be helpful....thanks!!!!!![​IMG]

    We keep a heat lamp just above the waterer. It was 2.5 outside this morning, 27 in the coop and the water was fine.

    or buy electric dog bowl (Walmart)

    You can also get plastic poultry waterers that have a heating element...

    I also also hang a heat lamp above my waterer. I plug it in on any night it is going to be below 30 degrees.
