I have a silver laced & a barred rock that I am trying to sex! any opinions welcome!

    they are a few weeks old, not quit sure of exact age but here are some pictures.

    Nothing screams cockerel... so far, they both look like pullets... but knowing age would help to be sure...

    The barred rock is for sure a pullet. The other could still go wither way.

    A comb shot of the Wyandotte would help confirm, but they both look female at this point.

    and just as an fyi, they're both well feathered enough not to need a heat lamp. Unless you have littles in there with them who still need it, go ahead and pull it out.

    it's unplugged! the baby coop is just so low inside that I haven't crawled in there to take it out yet! [​IMG]

    this is the best I have gotten of the combs so far.
