They are finally done hatching, at least the first round, round 2 is due tomorrow (only 4). I have 3 silver and 5 wheaton/blue wheaton. I will post pics when they go to the brooder tomorrow night. Anybody that knows about these colors, I have a question. I have one that is a pretty medium yellow, 3 that a little darker like a golden yellow, and one that is almost white, like my white silkies color when it hatched. Any idea on what they might end up being. I know it will be easier when I get pics but I was still curious [IMG] . Does anyone know a site that shows the different colors when they are chicks?
    Thanks
    Krista

    Congratulations!!!!!! [IMG]

I love Ameraucanas!!!!! Can't wait to see pics of them when they are all dry in their brooder. You'll be able to tell the colors better then.

Where did you get the eggs?

Sending vibes for round #2!!!!! [IMG]

One of the babies is from Pasofinofarm (the rest were destroyed by the po, exploded yolks on most [IMG] ) and the rest were from Jean (pips&peeps)
The second round was from Lisa (dipsy doodle doo)

I need those hatching vibes, round 2 is taking their time with only one pip so far [IMG]

OK, Sending more Ameraucana hatching vibes your way. [IMG]:fl

I was just wondering b/c I purchased some Blue Ameraucana hatching eggs earlier this spring from Skeeter9. The parents are gorgeous!!!!!! I ended up w/ a blue pullet, splash pullet, 2 black pullets, and 1 black cockerel. I just love them!!!!!! [IMG] They are so, so sweet!!!! I'm so happy with them.

Sorry about the PO. I've had my fair share this spring from PO mishandling.

    Good Luck! [IMG]
