I have broody hens - and a webcam.

    thanks!!! i can't wait! I needed a solution to know when the chicks hatch when i am at work... so might as well let the world watch too!!

    The camera is a D-Link 932 - and was about 100$. There's about 65$ worth of Cat5 cable and 14-2 electrical service, to get to the henhouse from the modem.

    Tried relying on the wireless feature of the cam at first but the henhouse is made of sheet metal and pretty much acted as a large faraday cage and made the signal very weak. We upgraded to cat5 and now things run smoothly.

    There ten chicks that have hatched - about a week old now.
