    Is this a new variety? I would love to have some next year...my pumpkins are thriving on this weather better than my tomatoes!

    We grow something the same size here, they're called Minnesota midgets. They work great here in the southwest because they have have such a quick growth time and we can get two seasons out of them (spring, fall). They are the best melons we've ever had.
