I have MUSCOVIES coming!

    Agh I am so excited! I have to drive like two hours round trip to go get them but it's so worth it. I can't wait to introduce this new species to my flock. I've always been most familiar with the Pekin ducks, and then this year branched out into other mallard-derived breeds. But we have a large population of feral muscovies nearby and they have always fascinated me. .

    I'm getting my ducklings today if everything goes according to plan.

    Who else has Muscovies?

    Congrats on your new family members!! No muscovies here but I know plenty other members have them. :frow

    I just got mine. They are a little over 3 weeks now. I drove 2 hours to get mine too.
    You can see them in the thread titled: My new muscovy ducklings. I am using the app and couldn't copy the whole url.

    I do I got introduced to Muscovy's in 2004 when some showed up on our Mt River I have had them ever since. Love the breed. My oldest drake was 1 month shy of 12 when he passed away my oldest female is 10 and still going strong.
