I have Silkie and Frizzle Cochin chicks on the way! Any tips for when

    they get here? I have ordered chicks before, but these will be my first Cochins and Silkies. I ordered them from Ideal this time because I wanted to try some of the different hatcheries.

    I should be getting black, red, and white Frizzled Cochins and a variety of Silkies. I am so excited!!! They were mailed today, so I hope to get them Wednesday.

    Just treat them the same way you would normal chicks. All they are is smaller! [​IMG]

    Have some Poly-vi-Sol (no Iron) liquid vitamin on hand for your silkies -- I've had a couple (1 new chick, and a 1-year old hen) need a little extra vitamin boost this week. See this thread for details:
