I know chickens have a homing signal but I came home tonight and the chickens had gone back in the coop ALL BY THEMSELVES! I just had to tell some one....

My girls did it last night for the first time too. I called my husband to tell him. You'd think it was our kids taking their first steps. LOLOL

It's so exciting when they do that! I was so scared the first time I let mine free range. I have 10 acres and corn and soy fields on both sides, it was very hard to let them out. The next few days they explored more and more and every night by 7 they tucked themselves in and said good night!
