I hung a head of cabbage in the coop - totally worth it.

I hung a half a head of cabbage in the girls run today. I used a piece of cloths line tied to an eye screw. The girls went nuts. I must have laughed for an hour.
I wonder if I should submit this for the pic of the day [IMG]

Yep, gotta get me some cabbage for my chickens.
I think the Association of Cabbage Growers of America owe you some free heads for bringing them lots of new business.

Sorta a chicken pinyata. The kids put dandylions on the top of the run for the birds to jump up at.

Sorry Pa in law no cabbage rolls. It was more fun watching the hens eating it. Yep that sounds like what I'll be saying tomorrow.

Just don't get red cabbage unless you want some funky green poo.
    They're hilarious to watch.
