I JUST SAW SOME BLOOD

When I was cleaning the coop this morning, I saw a tiny bit of blood in some poo. It actually was more like a tiny piece of tissue or something. (Sorry if that grossed anyone out) I do see this occasionally, but it's pretty rare. I'm not sure who it came from. I have two adult chickens (age...???) and 6 twenty week olds.

Should I be worried or do something with meds?

How long have you had the hens? hopefully someone can give you some ideas.

The adults I've had since Oct. '07 and the twenty week olds I got as chicks.

Hi, you May wanna treat for cocci...however possible worms also.. Just keep an eye on them..watch where they roost you should see it often there on there poo piles...use Amprolium, sulmet or any other types available for treatment of cocci
