He spent part of his Sunday blowdrying my injured Leghorn hen after I gave her a bath and irrigated her wound.

He may not always SAY "I love you", but he sure shows it.
It's so funny, because he was TOTALLY underwhelmed about my getting chickens, but he built the coop and run, bought me my Cochins at a swap meet, just rolled his eyes when I came home with ducks, barely cringes when I tell him I'm stopping at TSC on the way home, and thinks it's funny that I spend hours on "Chicken Facebook" (what the family calls BYC).

He really is a keeper. Of course, the fresh eggs don't hurt . . .
