do you think you could help me in figuring out the ages of my hens if I post photos?

If you are willing to help me out give me some pointers on photos that might help you out in guessing, because honestly I have no idea how old they are. I got them from our local feed store.

If I am posting this in the wrong section sorry!

post a pic, do you know when you got them? If so post pics of when you got them, if they were real young at the time(not feathered) you can date them that way

were they full grown when you got them?

They were almost feathered when I got them. Heads and backs were fluffy.

I will get some current one in a minute, my kids spent the weekend at my Parent's and when they came back home they said the chickens faces look more red. I of course do not notice it because I see them all the time.

Fifi looks like a barred rock, Tiger & Sierra might be EE (notice the grayish/bluish legs) and Cinnabun - not for sure.
Let's see what everyone else says.........

I think mine lost the last of their fuzz at six or seven weeks??? Can anyone confirm/contradict that?

My hens are 13 weeks old, and yours look a bit smaller. Nine or ten weeks? Ball park figure???

I think 6 or 7 weeks seems about right for losing their baby fuzz. Going by comb size I would say they are about 9 or 10 weeks. [IMG]

I was gonna say the feather out and loose most fuzz 5-6 weeks , so they were 6 weeks old when you got them, so how long haave you had them add 6 to it and they are that old. See how easy that was.

I would guess 9 or ten weeks in those photos as well, they have such small combs but full feathering. . .
