I lost Jimmy today :(

    He was my red pyle OEGB rooster that we raised as a chick in the house. He quickly became our favorite. He could crow on command and was the king of the barnyard. Jimmy was 2 1/2 years old.

    All of a sudden, he was sick this morning & died fast.
    So, here's a few pictures to remember him by. I do have a few sons of his just born this spring.

    I'm sorry. Things like that happen. When chickens go some times they go quick and it's so unexpected. At least you have a few of his sons and he died of natural causes.

    Oh Carol, I am so very sorry. He was a LOOKER! So glad you have a few of his sons to carry on his genes! RIP Jimmy.

    I'm sorry for your loss. I'm glad you have his offspring and hopefully you'll find comfort and seeing him in various ways through them.
