I have my chicks in an opaque storage tub. This afternoon an ant decided to climb up the exterior of the tub.

My chicks went NUTS trying to get that silly ant! Does anyone else have insanely predatory peeps?

My mom now has joined me in the chicken world. She has them in a clear tub in the garage. With the red light it attracts bugs. You should see them go after them like mad. She said that they fell asleep standing up.

Mine are freaks about bugs. It's hilarious.

Mine too. I gave them crickets for the first time a few days ago (little ones - they're only 2.5 weeks old) and they went wild. Hysterical.
