Just wanted to introduce myself. i have 4 two week old chicks - "brown layers" from the local feed store. not too sure what this means but i will post some pics soon so some of the "pros" on here can guess what they are. i live in nova scotia, canada. I love this site so much. i have read a lot of chicken books before getting my girls but this by far has been the most helpful place for me to find answers to my questions.

from South Carolina! This is a great place to meet people and learn about keeping chickens. I started with 5 and in less than a year I have 21, and we just had 8 chicks hatch this week! I LOVE chicken math! I have been having so much fun I even started a chicken blog!
