I may have hatched the ultimate Evil Silkie - Meet Zoe

I mated a Blue Partridge Silkie named Party, hatched from the eggs
of Flufnstuffs~FluffySilkies, with Kill, a Buff silkie from Hinkjc's eggs.

The result is nothing short of spectacular. This 4 day old silkie chick
has already devoured 30 quail that was in the same bator as her
and taken control of my Denzili and 3 other silkie chicks in the bator.

Her eyes draw me in and control me. I am powerless. We named her
Zoe.

I'm uncertain as to why Silkies are so evil... (eyes Zoe's pics... prods the husband and mumbles something about having to hatch 2-3 silkie eggs in the spring).

Cass, there are many reasons why Silkies are evil. The two that top my list are: they are bantams, and they don't look like real chickens!!!

You see, there are two camps when it comes to Silkies - you either love 'em or you really can't stand 'em. It's kinda fun to poke fun at each other about 'em. Of course, we don't really mean it. Just make sure you are in the "can't stand 'em" camp with the rest of us who love "real" chickens!!! LOL
