Any ideas on breed, gender, age?
    Thanks!
And no...we don't usually let the chickens hang out in the living room!

My guess is OEGB hen, looks almost like a mottled chocolate. She is beautiful!

I agree on her being a OEGB. Now I want to know why you've taken to meeting a guy in an alley and picking up a chicken from him? [IMG]

I think every town and city should have an alley like this.

How can you tell she's an OEGB? She's very docile, aren't they generally more aggressive?

WOW I had to click on this when I saw alley.

My GN d'Uccle literally flew the coop the other day. Searched all over for her, but haven't found her. First thing I panicked about was she flew over the fence into the neighbor's backyard. They own 3 Beagles. Never heard a peep and don't know if they even saw her, but she hasn't come home and I even went out and walked the alley a few times.

'I just knew I had just found my hen.

Just in case anyone else meets a guy in the alley and the chcicken he gives you fits the discription, send her home!

If I thought someone would hand me a chicken in my alley I'd be right there, but they hand other things out back there. [IMG]

    Pretty bird BTW
