I miss being an expecting mom. . .

Now that my chicks have all hatched. . .I am as pleased as punch.
But I sort of miss peering into the incubator every chance I get to see if anything is popping out

I need more eggs

Oh, now I get how this is addictive. . .

I actually have duck and goose eggs in the bator. . .but it is two more weeks before they hatch!
And I am only supposed to turn them three times a day!

Although I want to definitely hatch in the future, I feel relieved that my eggs are all hatched. 3 days of sleepless nights is no fun. Esepcially with a 2 and a half year old to wake up to in the morning! I feel like I should be turning, misting, or doing something though! My incubator is no longer in the spot it used to be for the past month....its weird. My ducks (woah I wrote "my eggs"...still getting used to the idea of being a ducky mama) replace it though which definitely makes up for it! I'm already thinking when to hatch Cayugas next! As a first time hatcher I'm going to enjoy my ducklings then try again when the time is right!
