I can't sleep, eat or stop obsessive research about raising chickens...the library shelves are empty cause all the books about chickens are at my house. I am absolutely NESTING. My girls are due to arrive the week of March 4th 2013 from M.McMurray. I live in Ketchikan, AK and would love words of wisdom about coops/runs and Black Bears.
You can "Visit" my homestead via my FB page at Earth Muffin Farms...we are going to be providing a web cam feed of the brooder box happenin's feel free to join us.

Hi and :welcome from Ohio. So glad to have you aboard. Your area looks wild. How grand is that. You will need a coop that will keep bears out. Good luck. :thumbsup
