i need a broody egglaying hen that can stand cold weather

ok this year i bought a few chiks and now there grown up but they dont sit on the eggs .and this lady told me this breed wont go broody so i need a new hen stat and i dont have any money to pay 4 the hen and i dont have an incubator please help me

Hi I have a hen that's really broody. She's half silkie and I'm letting her hatch some eggs right now. I would get a silkie because they're super broody and they look cool. If you live near a farm or hatchery they might be able to sell you a hen for cheap. Maybe you can do something to earn some cash and save up for a hen.

Where are you located? I have a ton of broody hens that need to go, but I'm in Kansas. I won't ship, but if you're close I'd give you one for free.
