Can someone send me a link for an automatic door kit? I don't have an outlet in my coop but hopefully I can use a battery [IMG]:

Mine shuts about an hour after they are on the roost for the night. It opens and closes so slowly that no chickens can get caught in it. And it runs on batteries, so you don't need electricity to your coop. I've had it for almost 2 years now, it's worth every penny.

    Hi RWPower,

I have the Addamotor one. I LOVE love love it. Got it atDiscount Automation. Never had any trouble. Works like a charm. Just as I had hoped it would. [IMG]

Apparently there is a solar/battery kit now . I'm looking into it too. I have the coop on electricity now, but don't want the cord across my yard. This looks promising.

    Good luck!
