I NEED HELP on the SEX AND COLOR of my PEACHICK

    i got this peachick on july 14 and s(he) already had wing feathers.
    i dont know what it is nor what color. please help.

    any help would be great.

    sorry for the mess on top of the nest boxes. i cleaned it once 2 weeks ago and the chickens insist on roosting on it.

    yes deerman and kev are both awesome. they know so much. and its about every bird animal. lol.

    i do have a question though.

    how can you tell its an indian blue pied HEN.

    also i thought peafowl couldnt mix genetics.

    The blue by the color of the hen, pied because of small patch of white feathers, and hen because she has lost the barrs in the back feathers.

    Bird only show one color, but can show many pattern on one bird.

    Like Blackshoulder pied white eye. Thats 3 patterns then add the color you want.

    Like me I like the peach, now have them in peach pied, peach blackshoulders, peach silver pied, and peach white eye.

    This year even have some peach pied white eye,

    It can take 6 years or longer to add a new color to some pattern.
