I have numbered the chicks in the pictures. I need to sex 2 wyandottes, 2 california whites, and 1 lavender orpigton. Im pretty sure the lavender is a pullet. I am having trouble with the other 4 because i know california whites mature fast and have large red combs as hens too. And i know nothing about the lacing and rose combs for the wyandottes. any help would be great! i probably cant keep my roosters so i want to be prepared. TIA! (sorry the pics arent great im home alone and had issues!)

I think they are all pullets. Lavender Orpingtons in my bit of experience with them can sometimes have bigger combs. It definitely needs more time to be sure. The Wyandotte are pullets, and I believe the whites are too, but I haven't owned them personally.

x2 For 8 weeks, there’s no obvious development that suggests that you have a roo!

So even if one of the whites base of the comb is more pink its not a big deal? i didnt pick out the chicks they were a gift i had planned on getting sex linked chicks since i dont know a lot about them yet and have neighbors lol

My other lavender is a roo I think lol so thats why I didn't post him

I haven't had that breed. The next few weeks should show if it's male or female. Generally if male that comb will be bright red by 8-10 weeks.
