Normally I dont name my birds. But the ducks are my pets so I guess its cool to name them.

My drake is in the middle you can just start to see his drake curl feather.

Now for the rouens they are camera shy, unlike my camera hog pekin

The rouens are also a PIA to get them to go inside for the night. If it was up to them they would stay on their pond. Too bad its not big enough to keep them safe or I would just let them stay out.

hmmmmm I dunno I am having issues naming 2 of mine...so far though I have named my others...

Sasha, Onyx, Hershey, KitKat, Mounds, Lilly, Nibblets and Draccus

so, I am all over the board with my names. Good luck naming them.

I named my first set of ducks after a 70's sitcom. That gave me...
Jack, Janet & Chrissy

When I got another duck, I named it Lana in keeping with the theme.

Then I had a solo hatch and named it JJ since I though mom was Janet and the dad, of course, was Jack.

I bought my duck a buddy and named it Bungie since it kept trying to jump out of the box, its brooder, or anything else you put it in.

I had another solo hatch and named it Uno.

Then I bought 3 Welsh Harlequins. I paid extra to have them sexed so I knew they were girls. I went back to TV for inspiration, so that gave me Shelley, Wendy & Bebe.

For the ducks I had no clue on gender, I picked names that would work for either a boy or girl.

All my ducks have/had names.
- John (white runner, named with his late friend after John and Tim, a couple in the community)
- Victoria and Albert ( (Queen Victoria & Prince Albert, white runners, rehomed to a farm north of me)
- Charlotte and Emily (the Bronte sisters, 2 collared fawns almost identical
-Mr Greenbill (Light fawn with army green bill, disappeared thanx to a hawk or raccoon yesterday)
- Fawn (you guessed it, a fawn runner)
- BlueBell (light fawn with a blue bill)

The ducklings are Ping, Pong and Paddle.
