    What do you guys think this little chick is going to be....A roo or hen?

    Game mix chick 1 month old This chick is off my favorite rooster.

    hmmm... maybe pullet?? I'd want pics of her as she gets older to say for sure, though.

    My initial guess is pullet. You may have to wait a little longer to really make sure. It has pretty barred wings!

    My MIL wants my roo bad but she isn't getting him...I wanted to end up with a roo just like him for her.

    LOL I know. I always see people on here afraid their chicks are roos! haha I want my MIL to have a roo like mine though, so that is why I am pulling for a roo [​IMG]

    How long do I have to wait to be able to tell for sure? It is just a month old now.

    That isn't too long to wait.

    You know, I tried the 'wives tale' method of holding them up and if they dangle the feet their a roo or if they pull up their feet they are a hen. That method said pullet too.... [​IMG]
